The third and final day of Teen CERT 2019 was a success! Yesterday, the participants from varying high schools in Fremont met for the concluding session of their CERT training. After learning about the proper usage of tourniquets, cribbing, and reviewing the techniques they have learned over the past sessions, the members were able to perform mini search and rescue drills! The tasks in the search and rescues tested the skills the participants gained throughout the training. Following this hands on portion of the day, the participants received certificates certifying their successful experience! These events were made possible by the several instructors from the Fremont Police Department and Fremont Fire Station. A big thanks to Alex Schubek and Andy Swartzell!
