As COVID-19 cases continue to increase rapidly throughout the Bay Area, essential workers have still been hard at work to support the community. To give back, the Youth Emergency Preparedness Council partnered with Washington Hospital to distribute PPE to seven Fremont and Union City high schools, as well as Al-Misbaah, a local non-profit that runs a community food shelter. Thank you Washington Hospital for this opportunity!
Total PPE donated:
• 8000 pairs of gloves
• 800 N-95 masks
• 800 face shields
• 350 surgical masks
• 350 bottles of hand sanitizer
• Additional disinfecting wipes, goggles, and respirators
