Hi! I am Harsh Gurnani, and I am a senior at Mission San Jose High School. I have always loved the medical field, and I enjoy helping others. YEPC, through its emergency preparedness programs, has given me an opportunity to develop my skills in this field. My hobbies include playing soccer, playing guitar, programming, and traveling. Hi! I’m Cynthia Liu and I’m a junior at Irvington High School. What inspired me to join YEPC was how I’ve always wanted to get more in touch with my community and help others, especially those in emergency situations. As a result, I saw this club as a perfect opportunity to not only help create safer environments, but also expand my knowledge in this field. As a student representative, I’m ready to dedicate myself to the movement and support those in need. Hi! My name is Arora and I am currently a sophomore at John F. Kennedy High School. I enjoy playing basketball, listening to music, and writing. I am currently working on a self-initiative organization called Fire Safety which is A non-profit organization dedicated to educating students about the dangers of fires & raising money/supplies for underprivileged families/homeless people. I’m in 11th grade and I go to Mission San Jose High School. My interests include Boy Scouts, robotics, and debate. I wanted to join the YEPC to spread awareness about emergency preparedness especially as we are close to a fault line and are due for an earthquake.
